Maruti Suzuki has achieved a significant milestone, rolling out one crore vehicles from its Manesar manufacturing plant in Haryana. Began operations in October 2006, it took 18 years to reach this landmark, with Maruti Brezza marking the 1 croreth vehicle produced.

About Maruti Suzuki Manesar Plant
Spread over 600 acres, the Maruti Suzuki’s Manesar-based manufacturing facility produced vehicles for both domestic and global markets, exporting to regions like the Middle East, Latin America, Africa, and parts of Asia. The brand produces Ertiga, Brezza, XL6, Ciaz, Dzire, WagonR, Celerior and S-Presso in this plant.
In addition to Manesar, Maruti Suzuki has another production plant in Hansalpur, Gujarat. The brand is also setting up another manufacturing facility in Kharkhoda, Haryana, which is expected to be functional in 2025.

Currently, Maruti Suzuki has 17 models in its India lineup. The brand is gearing up to expand its lineup, including EVs. The first EV from Maruti Suzuki will be the eVX SUV which is scheduled to make its market debut next year. The carmaker is also gearing up to launch the new-gen Dzire on November 4, 2024.
