Maruti Suzuki’s flagship offering, the Grand Vitara, has been a huge success, having garnered over 1.15 lakh bookings since its launch in September 2022. But this success comes with long queues of prospective customers. Having said that, the SUV is currently commanding a waiting period of up to 9 months in some metropolitans of the country. The waiting period for the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is between 2.5 months to 9 months, depending on the region. The SUV is readily available in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. However, your wait will be a little longer in Noida, Gurugram and Faridabad.

Maruti offers the Grand Vitara with a 103PS 1.5-litre mild-hybrid and a 116PS 1.5-litre strong-hybrid petrol engine. The former is also available with a factory-fitted CNG kit. One can also get the mild-hybrid unit with the brand’s AllGrip Select All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) system.

Currently, the Grand Vitara retails between Rs 10.45 lakh and Rs 19.65 lakh (ex-showroom), and locks horns with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq, Nissan Kicks, and its cousin rival Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
