Mahindra XUV400 One of One Special Edition Showcased At Tech Fashion One Tour

Back in September 2022, Mahindra & Mahindra revealed the XUV400 electric SUV that is expected to be launched in January 2023. But ahead of its official market arrival, Mahindra has showcased a special edition version of the XUV400 called โ€One of One Editionโ€ at its Tech Fashion Tour Season 6. The special edition variant was designed by Mahindraโ€™s chief design officer Pratap Bose in alliance with a leading fashion icon and progressive texturist Rimzim Dadu.

Offered only in a single unit, this special edition variant of the Mahindra XUV400 will be put on auction from December 10 to December 14 and the bidding amount will be over Rs 25 lakh. On the other hand, the regular model of the SUV is likely to be offered in three variants: Base, EP and EL.

Mahindra XUV400 One of One Special Edition โ€“ Whatโ€™s New?

The Special Edition variant of the Mahindra XUV400 emphasises the FASHION WITH FABRICS theme, featuring a new upholstery designed by Rimzim Dadu comprising black upholstery for the seats with copper stitching, along with a dash of blue inserts, giving it a premium feel. It also features blue steel wire cushions in the back and the โ€˜Rimzim Dadu X Boseโ€™ insignia on the front seat headrests and rear centre armrest. The same branding can also be seen on the C-pillar of the sub 4m SUV and a blue outline around the Twin-Peak logo at the front.

Are there any changes?

Well no, the special edition of the Mahindra XUV400 remains unchanged. It will continue to get the same 39.4kWh battery pack as its regular model which is good for a range of 456km on a single charge (ARAI claimed). Its front axle-mounted electric motor dishes out 149PS and a class-leading torque of 310Nm, allowing it to complete the century sprint in just 8.3 seconds, making it slightly faster than the Tata Nexon EV MAX.
