Mahindra Scorpio N Z4 Automatic Reintroduced At Rs 17.39 Lakh

As we reported a few days ago, Mahindra has reintroduced the Scorpio N’s Z4 variant with an automatic gearbox at a starting price of Rs 17.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The same setup was available earlier when the SUV was launched in 2022, but was later discontinued. Now, with the automatic option back in the Z4 variant, it has become more affordable for buyers.

As seen in the table above, the Scorpio N Z4 petrol-automatic variant is more affordable at Rs 1.67 lakh, while the diesel automatic is priced Rs 1.05 lakh lower than the Z6.

Mahindra Scorpio N Z4 Automatic Variant

  • The Scorpio N Z4 variant is only available in a 7-seater layout.
  • It gets features like halogen headlamps, LED indicators, 17-inch steel wheels with covers, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, steering-mounted audio and cruise control, manual AC with rear AC vents, rear wiper & washer, and rear defogger.
  • For safety, it gets dual airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, hill assist, ISOFIX anchors and rear parking sensors.
  • Mahindra offers the Scorpio N Z4 with both 2-litre turbo-petrol (203PS/up to 380Nm) and 2.2-litre diesel engine (up to 175PS/400Nm) options, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
  • While a RWD configuration is standard, the diesel can also be had in 4×4 guise.
  • In the Indian market, the Scorpio N is seen as a rugged alternative to the Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and Mahindra XUV700.
