Mahindra & Mahindra has joined hands with the leading EV network provider Statiq to expand the EV charging network across the nation. The two companies will also cooperate on various e-mobility tech integration projects in the future. This announcement comes just a few months ahead of the launch of the XUV400, which is essentially an electric version of the XUV300.
Currently, Statiq has over 6500+ charging stations throughout India, and by the end of this year, the company strives to have a roughly 20,000-strong charging network.
Speaking on the collaboration, Veejay Nakra, President of – the Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said, “Our partnership with Statiq will ensure robust EV infrastructure solutions for all our customers, in the most seamless manner. It will enable faster charging and wider reach through our extensive dealership network across the country.”
In other news, Mahindra has recently launched the TurboSport variants of the XUV300 at a starting price of Rs 10.35 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most powerful SUV in its category. The SUVmaker is also gearing up to launch the 5-door version of the Thar off-road that is likely to hit the market sometime in 2023.
