Mahindra Launches Dark Brown Interior For Thar Roxx After Listening Feedback

Launched in August this year, the Mahindra Thar Roxx initially featured a white cabin, which, while giving the cabin look premium, was prone to soiling. Now addressing this issue, Mahindra has now introduced a new Mocha Brown interior theme for the Thar Roxx 4WD variants. It is ideal for off-road enthusiasts who want to avoid getting the white interiors dirty.

This new shade features the top of the dashboard in black, while the bottom half features a brown finish, with the same colour scheme on the door trims and seats. It is worth noting that this new interior theme will be exclusive to the 4WD variants only, with deliveries commencing in January 2025. However, the white cabin theme will also continue to be available, with deliveries starting from October 12.

Mahindra Thar Roxx Overview

For those unaware, the Thar Roxx is essentially a 5-door version of the Thar, which comes with a host of design changes and additional features, making it a more premium offering. Having said that, the Thar Roxx comes loaded with 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, digital driver’s display, panoramic sunroof, automatic AC, ventilated front seats, wireless smartphone charger, a Harmon Kardon sound system, six airbags (standard), ESC, a 360-degree camera, and level-2 ADAS features.

Powering the Thar Roxx is either a 2-litre turbocharged petrol (up to 177PS/380Nm) or a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel (up to 175PS.370Nm) engine, offered with the option of a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. While the RWD system is standard, the 4WD system is only available with the diesel variants.
