In late March 2025, Mahindra began deliveries of the BE 6 and XEV 9e, and so far, the Indian carmaker has handed over 3,000 units of these born-electric vehicles to customers. Reservations opened on February 14, and the brand received an immense response from the market, securing 30,179 bookings on the very first day.
Mahindra stated that they continue to witness strong booking momentum, with most customers opting for the fully loaded Pack 3 variants. Current booking trends indicate 59% demand for the XEV 9e and 41% for the BE 6. With this overwhelming response from customers, the current waiting period extends up to 6 months, depending on the model and area. However, Mahindra is actively scaling up production to lower the wait time.
