Mahindra Bolero Gets Dual-Airbags As Standard

  • 2022 Mahindra Bolero is now more safer with the introduction of a side-passenger airbag.
  • Prices are likely to be revised soon.
  • No mechanical changes have been made.

According to a media report, Mahindra has silently updated the Bolero SUV with dual airbags, which will be offered as standard across the lineup. However, the brand is yet to make any official announcement regarding the same. Earlier, the feature was supposed to be introduced with the Bolero facelift.

It is also worth noting that Mahindra hasn’t updated the brochure and the prices of the Bolero till the writing of this news. It is still available in three variants: B4, B6, and B6 (O), which are priced from Rs 9 lakh and Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

As per the reports, the 2022 Mahindra Bolero doesn’t get any other feature or powertrain changes. It continues to be equipped with a Bluetooth-enabled music system with AUX & USB connectivity, manual AC, keyless entry, power steering, and a digital instrument cluster.

Powering the Bolero is a 1.5-litre mHawk75 BS6 diesel engine that makes 75PS and 210Nm and comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and micro-hybrid tech (engine start-stop system).

Currently, Mahindra offers the Bolero in three monotone colour options- White, Silver, and Brown. The brand is also gearing up to introduce it with a dual-tone paint scheme,
