KTM RC 390 Finally Gets Adjustable Suspensions

It is a moment of joy for KTM fans, as the Indian-spec KTM RC 390 has finally been fitted with an adjustable rear mono-shock similar to its European counterpart that offers five stages of rebound adjustment, along with the existing preload adjustment.

For those who aren’t aware, the upgraded KTM RC 390 was launched last month in the Indian market. It received all the updates as its global counterpart except for the adjustable suspensions. But thankfully, the much-desired feature has finally been rolled out for our beloved sports bike. However, at the front, the bike will continue to get the 43mm WP Apex open cartridge non-adjustable fork, whereas its European model features a fully-adjustable front fork with 30 clicks of compression and rebound damping.

Interestingly, the much more affordable TVS Apache RTR 310 BTO with Dynamic kit comes with fully adjustable suspensions at both ends that offer adjustment of preload, rebound, and compression damping. It would have been better if KTM had offered fully adjustable front forks with the new RC 390 at least as an optional unit.
