Kia Syros Gets New HTK (EX) Variant At Rs 9.89 Lakh

Kia India has launched a new mid-spec HTK (EX) variant for the Syros SUV, priced from Rs 9.89 lakh (ex-showroom). This new trim is positioned between the HTK (O) and HTK+ variants in Syros’ lineup and makes some features more affordable.

Kia Syros HTK (EX) – What’s New?

The new HTK (EX) variant gets some additional features over the HTK (O) variant. These include LED headlamps, LED DRLs, and LED tail lamps. Earlier, all of these variants were offered in the higher-spec HTX trim, which starts from Rs 12.10 lakh (ex-showroom).

This new trim also gets 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels for the petrol version. However, the diesel variant continues to be offered with steel wheels.

Apart from the above-mentioned amenities, the new HTK (EX) variant also comes loaded with LED turn indicators, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a semi-digital driver’s display, 6 speakers, a single-pane sunroof, manual AC with rear vents, rear sunshades, powered side mirrors with auto-fold function, six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, hill assist, tyre pressure monitoring system, ISOFIX child seat anchors, front & rear parking sensors, and rear parking camera.

Competition Check

In the sub-4m SUV segment, the Kia Syros is positioned as a premium alternative to the Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Skoda Kylaq and Mahindra XUV 3XO.
