Kia Carens Clavis HTX (EX) Variant Launched At Rs 12.55 Lakh

Kia India has added a new HTE (EX) variant to the Carens Clavis lineup, with prices ranging from Rs 12.55 lakh to Rs 14.53 lakh (ex-showroom). With this update, the three-row people mover is now available in a total of eight variants: HTE, HTE (O), HTE (EX), HTK+, HTK+ (O), HTX, HTX (O) and HTX+.

This new trim makes a few convenience features more affordable. However, it is only available with a manual gearbox.

Kia Carens Clavis HTE (EX) – What’s New?

Positioned above the HTE (O) variant, the new HTE (EX) trim brings a host of additional convenience features such as an electric sunroof, automatic climate control, one-touch up/down function for driver window, LED DRLs and LED cabin lamps. Earlier, the sunroof was offered from the HTK+ (O); hence, the new trim lowers the entry point for this feature by over Rs 3 lakh.

The other notable amenities of the HTE (EX) variant include the rear window sunshades, an 8-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 6-speaker sound system, steering-mounted controls, powered side mirrors with turn indicators, a semi-digital instrument cluster, rear AC vents, tyre pressure monitoring system, ISOFIX anchors, six airbags, a rear parking camera, and much more.

Its petrol version also comes with 15-inch blacked-out alloy wheels, whereas the diesel version gets a larger 16-inch steel wheels.
