Kia Seltos Automatic Now More Accessible

Kia has launched two new automatic variants of the Seltos. Priced from Rs 15.40 lakh, these new variants significantly enhance buyers’s accessibility to automatic transmission options. The company has also updated other variants with new features.

  • The introduction of the new HTK+ petrol-CVT variant reduces the starting price of the CVT gearbox by Rs 1.18 lakh, while the diesel-AT becomes more affordable by Rs 1.28 lakh.
  • In addition to gaining the new automatic gearbox options, the Seltos HTK+ trim also receives some new features, including LED connected tail lamps, LED front lamps, interior LED reading lamps, a panoramic sunroof, paddle shifters, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and drive and traction control modes. It also gets a new exterior paint option: Aurora Black Pearl.
  • Kia has also upgraded other variants with new features.
  • Top-end trims (HTX, HTX+, GT Line, X Line) now have auto up/down functions for all four windows.
  • Lower-spec HTK trim receives LED DRLs, keyless entry, push-button start/stop, remote engine starts/stop, and LED-connected tail lamps.
  • Base HTE trim now offers five additional exterior colour options: Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey, Intense Red, Pewter Olive, and Imperial Blue.
  • Prices for the Kia Seltos SUV now start from Rs 10.90 lakh to Rs 20.35 lakh (ex-showroom).
  • In the Indian market, the Seltos rivals the Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Toyota Hyryder.
