Kia India Posts Best-Ever February Sales At 27,610 Units, Up 10.3% YoY

Kia India has recorded its highest-ever February sales since the start of its India operations, dispatching 27,610 units in February 2026. This marks a healthy 10.3 per cent year-on-year growth over the 25,026 units sold in February 2025, making it the second consecutive month of double-digit growth for the brand.

The strong performance was led by robust demand for the new Kia Seltos, which continues to attract buyers with its refreshed design, updated features and improved safety package. The Kia Sonet also remained a key volume driver for the carmaker, sustaining its popularity in the compact SUV space thanks to its feature-rich and value-focused proposition.

In the MPV segment, the Kia Carens Clavis strengthened Kia’s presence in the family mobility space with its practical layout and comfort-oriented enhancements. Meanwhile, the Kia Carens Clavis EV is gradually gaining traction among buyers looking to switch to electric mobility. At the premium end, the Kia Carnival continues to reinforce the brand’s position in the luxury MPV category.

Commenting on the milestone, Atul Sood, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Kia India, said the record-breaking February performance reflects growing customer trust and the brand’s ability to adapt to evolving market preferences, including the shift towards EVs.

Kia India attributes its growth to a balanced product portfolio. The company’s strong retail network, which spans 849 touchpoints across 382 cities, along with 122 certified pre-owned outlets, has further improved accessibility and customer confidence.

With a strong start to 2026, Kia India aims to sustain this momentum while expanding its electric vehicle footprint and strengthening its mass-premium positioning in the Indian market.
