Kia Carens To Be Launched On February 15

Latest Update: Kia Carens has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 8.99 lakh. Click here for details.

  • Carens is Kia’s all-new 6/7-seater MPV that will be available in five variants: Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury, and Luxury Plus.
  • Pre-launch bookings are already open.
  • It’s based on brand’s ”Opposite United” design philosophy.
  • You can choose between 1.5-litre petrol, diesel and 1.4-litre turbo-petrol.
  • It will rival the Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV700, and select variants of Toyota Innova Crysta.

Kia India will launch its all-new Carens on February 15, 2022. It’s a 6/7-seater utility vehicle, which the brand calls a Recreational Vehicle (RV). It is essentially a cross-version of an SUV and MPV that will rival the likes of Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XV700, Toyota Urban Cruiser, and the SUV it is based on, the Hyundai Alcazar. Bookings for the car are already underway for a token amount of Rs 25,000.

The Carens is Kia’s fourth offering in our country. It debuts the brand’s global ‘Opposites United’ design language with notable highlights including a more elegant ‘Tiger Nose’ grille with a striking LED lighting setup, giving it a futuristic appeal.

Kia will offer the Carens in five broad trims:  Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury, and Luxury Plus. While a 7-seater layout will be standard across the lineup, its top-spec Luxury Plus trim will also be available in a 6-seater configuration.
