Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR Launched At Rs 9.10 Lakh

Kawasaki has launched the Ninja ZX-4RR sportster in India at Rs 9.10 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it Rs 61,000 higher than the Ninja ZX-4R. Essentially a track-focused version of the ZX-4R, it has been introduced via the CBU route.

Here’s what this bike brings to table:-

  • It gets a 399cc, inline-four cylinder liquid-cooled engine that makes 77PS at 14,500 rpm and 39Nm at 13,000 rpm. With ram air, the peak power output rises to 80PS.
  • The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission via a bi-directional quick-shifter and a slipper clutch. The former allows for seamless, clutchless gear shifts in both upshifts and downshifts, enhancing performance and reducing rider fatigue. On the other hand, the slipper clutch prevents rear-wheel lockup during aggressive downshifting, providing smoother and safer rides, especially at high speeds.
  • Based on the trellis frame, the bike features a 37mm Showa SFF-BP preload inverted fork at the front for superior handling & stability, and a fully adjustable monoshock at the rear to fine-tune the suspension to their preference.
  • Anchoring duties are handled by dual 290mm front discs and a 220mm single disc at the rear, providing robust stopping power.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR price
  • Design-wise, the Ninja ZX-4RR looks similar to the ZX-4R. However, it flaunts the brand’s signature Racing Green colour scheme, making it instantly recognizable and visually striking to motorcycle enthusiasts.
  • Regarding features, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR comes equipped with a 4.2-inch digital cluster, four riding modes [Sport, Road, Rain and Rider (Custom)], traction control with three settings, and dual-channel ABS.
  • The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR has no direct rival in the Indian market.
