Jeep Meridian Deliveries Commenced Across The Nation

  • Deliveries of Jeep Meridian are now underway.
  • It comes in two broad trims: Limited and Limited (O).
  • Currently, the SUV ranges between Rs 29.90 – 36.95 lakh (ex-showroom).

Jeep India has finally commenced deliveries of the Meridian SUV across the nation. It is essentially a three-row version of the Jeep Compass that was launched last month at a starting price of Rs 29.90 lakh (ex-showroom). In the Indian market, it goes up against the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, Mahindra Alturas G4, Isuzu mu-X, and the petrol-only Skoda Kodiaq.

Jeep offers the Meridian in two variants: Limited and Limited (O). It comes with Compass’ 170PS/350Nm 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder, turbo-diesel engine, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed torque converter automatic transmission. While a front-wheel-drivetrain (FWD) is standard, its range-topping Limited (O) AT trim can also be had with the all-wheel-drivetrain (AWD) option.

Further adding to its off-road attributes are its approach angle of 21 degrees, a departure angle of 22 degrees, a break-over angle of 20 degrees, water wadding capacity of 406mm, multiple terrain modes (Sand/Mud, Snow, Auto), all-season tires, and independent suspensions with frequency selective damping (FSD).
