Jawa 42 2.1 Tawang Edition Launched Exclusively For North East

The Jawa 42 2.1 has been introduced in a new Tawang Edition at Rs 2.14 lakh (ex-showroom), making it Rs 20,000 more expensive than the standard model. It will be available exclusively to Arunachal Pradesh and neighbouring regions’ customers. You can also make its booking online for a token amount of Rs 5,000.

Jawa 42 2.1 Tawang Edition – What’s Special?

Based on the Allstar Black Edition that was introduced back in 2021, the Tawang Edition badge is added to its tank, giving the roadster a distinctive appearance from its standard model. More interestingly, it has a Lungta motif on both the front fender and fuel tank, a mythical wind horse that symbolises good fortune and prosperity.

Only 100 units of this limited edition bike will be produced, and each one of the 100 units will get a unique numbered medallion.

Are there any other changes?

The rest of the bits haven’t changed. The Jawa 42 continues with the same 293cc liquid-cooled engine as the standard model that makes 27.33PS and 26.84Nm. The underpinnings of the bike include a telescopic fork and twin shocks, while the anchoring is taken care of by single-disc brakes at both ends.
