Hyundai IONIQ 5 India Launch Confirmed

Days after the announcement of the Kia EV6‘s India debut, Hyundai Motors has also confirmed that it will bring its globally acclaimed IONIQ 5 electric SUV to our shores in the second half of 2022. With this, it will become Hyundai’s second electric offering in the Indian market after the Kona EV.

And since its battery pack is placed inside the floor (between the front and rear axles), it offers abundant cabin space. In terms of features, the Hyundai IONIQ 5 gets a dual-screen setup (12-inch displays), and Hyundai’s latest futuristic augmented reality (AR) head-up display (HUD), which uses the windshield as a display screen. It also comes equipped with Hyundai SmartSense technology (ADAS) that comprises reader-based active safety features like a surround-view monitor, forward collision-avoidance assist, high beam assist, intelligent speed limit assist, highway driving assist 2, driver attention warning, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, parking collision-avoidance assist, and remote smart parking assist.
