Hyundai Addressed EV Resale Concerns with Creta Electric Buyback Plan

Hyundai has introduced an assured buyback programme for Creta Electric, offering 60% assured buyback value for up to 3 years/45,000km. With this, the Korean carmaker aims to address uncertainty around resale value, which is a key hesitation for EV buyers. This scheme will also make it easier to upgrade to a new vehicle and give buyers greater confidence in switching to an electric vehicle (EV).

Currently, Hyundai retails the Creta Electric SUV from Rs 18.03 lakh to Rs 24.70 lakh (ex-showroom). However, buyers who do not want to spend this much can also opt for the battery-as-a-service (BaaS) scheme, under which the Creta Electric starts from Rs 10.99 lakh + Rs 3.9 per km usage fee for the 42 kWh battery pack.
