Honda Updated The H’Ness CB350 and CB350RS To BS6 Phase-II Emission Norms

Honda Motorcycles India has launched the BS6 Phase 2 compliant versions of H’ness CB350 and CB350RS. The Japanese bikemaker has also introduced a new ‘DLX Pro’ variant of the CB350RS and a ‘DLX Pro Chrome’ variant of the H’ness CB350.

2023 Honda H’Ness CB350 and CB350RS – What’s New?

  • For starters, both the Honda H’Ness CB350 and CB350RS are now in compliance with the upcoming BS6 phase-2 emission norms. If you aren’t aware, both bikes come with the same 348.3cc, single-cylinder, counterbalanced engine that makes 21PS of max power at 5500rpm and 30Nm of peak torque at 3000rpm. It is paired with a 5-speed transmission with an assist & slipper clutch.
  • As mentioned above, the Honda CB350RS gets a new DLX Pro variant. This new trim comes equipped with the ”Honda Smartphone Voice Control System (HSVCS)” over the DLX variant. It allows riders to connect their smartphone to the bike’s instrument cluster via Bluetooth to access features like incoming calls, messages, navigation, and music playback through the left switch cube of the bike. Earlier, this feature was limited to the DLX Pro variant of the H’Ness CB350.

  • Both the motorcycles now also feature Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), which activates all the turn indicators to flash upon sudden/hard braking.
  • The Honda H’Ness CB350 now also comes with a split seat as standard fitment across the variant lineup. Earlier, it was restricted to the Anniversary Edition.

Aside from all these changes, both bikes remain unchanged. They continue to get features like an all-LED lighting system, a semi-digital instrument cluster, USB charging port, a hazard lamp, traction control (Honda Selectable Torque Control), alloy wheels, and dual-channel Antilock Braking System (ABS).

In the Indian market, the H’Ness CB350 locks horns with the Jawa, Royal Enfield Classic 350, Yezdi Roadster, and Benelli Imperiale 400, whereas the CB350RS goes up against the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, and Yezdi Scrambler.
