After introducing a new variant of the Activa 6G with keyless functions, Honda 2 Wheelers India is now gearing up to launch a new bike under the 100cc segment that will go up against the Hero Splender. The bike will go on sale on March 15, 2023.
Going by the tagline stating ‘Gear up for a shining future”, the upcoming commuter motorcycle could be called Shine 100. In fact, in its current guise, the Honda Shine is India’s best-selling 125cc commuter motorcycle.

While it’s not official, the upcoming Honda commuter could use a sloper engine, this is something that the bikemaker hasn’t used since its break-up with Hero in 2011.
Currently, the CD 110 Dream is Honda’s most affordable commuter motorcycle which is priced at Rs 71,402 (ex-showroom). So expect the upcoming Honda motorcycle to be priced below this price tag.
