Honda Shine 125 Now BS6.2 Compliant; Price Increased

  • Honda 2-wheelers India has launched the BS6.2-compliant version of its highly popular Shine 125 commuter motorcycle.
  • It continues to be offered in two trims – Drum and Disc, priced at Rs 79,800 and Rs 83,800, respectively (all ex-showroom Delhi).
  • This makes the upgraded model Rs 1,386 more expensive than the previous version.
  • Being updated on the new emission norms, the Honda Shine 125 now comes with an OBD2 port which monitors the performance and emissions of the engine and other components and reports any malfunctions/issues related to the emission control systems, thus assisting in keeping with the latest emission measures and assuring the proper functioning of the vehicle’s emissions-related components.
  • Powering the Honda Shine 125 is the same 123.94cc, single-cylinder, FI mill (10.74PS/11Nm) that comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
  • For braking, it gets a 240mm disk/130mm drum brake up front and a 130mm drum brake at the rear.
