Author’s Take

Using the Shine moniker is a smart move for Honda, as it is already a well-known household name. Also, its prices are quite competitive. Now, it remains to be seen if the Honda Shine 100 will succeed Hero Splendor Plus as India’s best-selling commuter motorcycle.
