Honda Officially Axed The 4th-Gen City, WR-V and Jazz
Honda has officially discontinued the 4th-gen City sedan, WR-V crossover and Jazz premium hatchback from its India lineup.
Reason of discontinuation
As a result of the new BS6 Phase-2 regulations, Honda was required to upgrade these models to the new emission standards, which the company found unprofitable due to their weak demand.
After the Brio was axed, the Jazz was the only hatchback available in Honda’s lineup, positioned against the Maruti Baleno and Hyundai i20. Now, this space is vacant.
The Honda WR-V was basically a rugged-looking crossover version of the Jazz.
