Honda Elevate To Be Revealed On This Date; Sunroof Confirmed

Honda is all set to foray into the highly congested mid-size SUV segment with the all-new Elevate SUV that will make its official debut on June 6, 2023. Unofficial bookings for the SUV are already underway at select Honda dealerships across the nation.

  • The latest teaser of the upcoming SUV confirms the presence of a single-pane electric sunroof.
  • The teaser offers a captivating glimpse of the front LED daytime running lights (DRLs), as well as the stylish connected LED taillights and the presence of a roof rail.
  • While the interior of the Elevate is yet to be seen, it is expected to be packed with an abundance of premium features, considering its placement in a segment where features hold significant importance. Having said that, we assume that it will boast a generous-sized touchscreen infotainment system, connected car tech with voice assist, a wireless phone charger, auto AC, rear AC vents, ventilated front seats, electric adjustment for the driver’s seat, among other luxurious offerings.
  • On the safety front, the Honda Elevate is likely to get multiple airbags, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring and Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Engine Options

  • Expect Honda to offer the Elevate with City’s 121PS 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, with 6-speed manual and CVT automatic transmission choices.
  • It is also expected to be offered with City Hybrid’s 126PS strong-hybrid powertrain.

Expected Price and Competitors

  • Expect Honda to price the Elevate from around Rs 10.5-11 lakh (ex-showroom), placing it against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun.
