Honda Elevate Black Edition Launched At Rs 15.51 Lakh

Going with the market trend, Honda Elevate receives a model year update with the addition of two new Black Editions: Black and Signature Black, based on the top-spec ZX variant of the SUV. Bookings for these Black Editions are now open, with CVT variant deliveries to start in January and manual variant deliveries beginning in February 2025.

Honda Elevate Black Edition

The Elevate Black Edition comes in a Crystal Black Pearl exterior paint scheme, along with blacked-out alloys. It also features an all-black cabin scheme with black leatherette seats. It also features a black accent on the door pads, armrest and around the instrument cluster. There’s also a Black Edition moniker on the tailgate.

While the regular Honda Elevate Black Edition continues to feature the chrome garnish on the upper grille, along with a silver finish for the skid plate, roof rails and doors, the Signature Black Edition has an all-black treatment for these elements. It also features a “Signature” badge on the front fender. Inside, it also has 7-color ambient lighting over the regular Black Edition.

Key Features

Aside from these cosmetic changes, both these special edition models remain unchanged. The SUV continues to come loaded with amenities like auto LED headlamps, automatic AC, wireless charger, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay, a 7-inch semi-digital cluster, single-pane sunroof, six airbags, ESC, hill assist, LaneWatch camera, and ADAS suite, comprising active safety features like adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, auto emergency braking and more.

Powertrain

Powering the Honda Elevate Black and Signature Black Edition is the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine as the standard model that produces 121PS of max power and 145Nm of peak torque. It can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-step CVT automatic transmission option.

Competition Check

In the mid-size SUV segment, the Honda Elvate takes on the likes of Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Toyota Hyryder, MG Astor, and Hyundai Creta.
