Recently showcased at the Thailand Motor Show 2022, the fifth-generation Honda City e:HEV will be powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine (98PS/127Nm), mated to two electric motors. One of them produces  109PS and 253Nm, and can drive the mid-size sedan in pure electric mode as well. The other comes attached to the gasoline mill and acts as an integrated starter generator (ISG). The only transmission option with the hybrid powertrain is the CVT automatic that drives the front wheels of the car.

As for fuel efficiency, it is expected to return around 27.78 kmpl in ideal driving conditions.

It also features some advanced driving assist techs called ‘Honda Sensing’ technology that comprises multiple active safety features such as adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning system, collision mitigation braking system, etc.
