Honda CB300F Arrives In India; Check Out The Prices

Honda Motorcycles has launched the CB300F streetfighter in India at a price starting from Rs 2.26 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in two variants: Deluxe and Deluxe Pro. Here are the detailed prices –

Honda CB300F – Design, Underpinnings and Features

In terms of design, the CB300F looks like a bigger version of the Honda Hornet 2.0. It has edgy body panels and an extended fuel tank to give it more of a sporty look. Its all-LED headlamp will remind you of the Honda CB500F.

The bike also gets a type-C USB charging port, engine starts/stop switch, split seat and a full LCD instrument cluster that displays nearly all riding-related states and info such as gear position indication, real-time & average mileage, distance-to-empty readouts, battery voltage, fuel level, time, and speed. It also features Honda’s smartphone voice control system on the Deluxe Pro variant that allows you to connect your smartphone with the bike. Using this tech, you can make calls, receive messages, listen to music, navigate, and check the weather on the go. It can be performed by handle-mounted switches backed by voice prompts.

Speaking of the underpinnings, the CB300F gets a premium golden upside-down (USD) fork up front and a 5-step adjustable monoshock setup at the rear, suspended on 17-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in MRF Revz FC1 110/150 section tyres. Anchoring this new streetfighter are disc brake setup at both ends (276mm front and 220mm rear), assisted by dual-channel Antilock Braking System (ABS). The bike has a curb weight of 153kg, a quite accessible seat height of 789mm, and a ground clearance of 177mm.

Honda CB300F – Engine & Transmission

Powering the CB300F is a 293cc air-oil-cooled engine that makes 24.47PS of maximum power at 7,500RPM and 26.5Nm at 5,500RPM. It comes mated to a 6-speed transmission with a slip-&-assist clutch. It also gets Honda Selectable Torque Control, which is essentially a traction control system. While the official fuel efficiency figure is yet to be revealed, the capacity of the fuel tank is 14.1-liters.

Honda offers the CB300F in three attractive hues: SPORTS RED, MAT MARVEL BLUE METALLIC, and MAT AXIS GREY METALLIC.

This new Japanese streetfighter will take on the likes of the KTM 200 Duke, Bajaj Pulsar N250, and the Yamaha FZ25.
