Honda CB200X Deliveries Commence Across The Country

Last month, Honda 2wheelers India launched its most affordable adventure motorcycle, the CB 200X at Rs 1,44,500 (ex-showroom Gurugram). Now, the brand has commenced its deliveries through ‘Red Wing’ dealerships across the country. The maiden customer key handover ceremony was conducted at Faridabad Honda in Faridabad (Haryana).

Honda CB200X price

Speaking on the occasion of the first delivery of CB200X, Mr. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Director – Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd., said –

From the day it was launched, our dealer network has been receiving inquiries especially from new-age customers. As the situation is getting normal and people are moving out for work and leisure trips, they are looking for the machine which meets all their expectations. With Honda’s CB legacy, the all-new CB200X proves to be the best partner for both busy weekday city commutes as well as short weekend relaxed rides.

Based on the same platform as the Hornet 2.0, the new CB 200X shares many design elements with the street fighter such as LED headlamp, taillight, and golden USD fork, etc. However, its taller stance, muscular front fairing with longer fuel tank extensions, a tinted windscreen, wider handlebars with knuckle guard-mounted LED indicators, and a tank-mounted key slot, makes it stand out from its younger sibling. While it gets features like a fully digital instrument cluster, engine bash plate, dual-purpose tires, golden USD front forks, it misses out on dual-channel ABS, Bluetooth connectivity, and a USB charging port.

The Honda CB200X is powered by the same 184.4cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine as the Honda Hornet 2.0. Paired with a 5-speed transmission, this engine makes out 17.26PS at 8500rpm and 16.1Nm at 6000rpm.

Honda CB200X specfications

The bike is available in a single variant and three color options – – Pearl Nightstar Black, Sports Red, and Matte Selene Silver Metallic. Currently, the Honda CB200X takes on the likes of Hero XPulse 200, which is priced at Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
