Honda Acitva 6G Gets 20th Anniversary Edition

Honda Activa is one of the most popular scooters available in the Indian two-wheeler industry. It was launched back in 2001 and now this legendary scooter has completed almost two decades in the Indian market and sold over 2.2 million units. To mark this milestone, the Japanese brand has launched a special edition of the scooter named "Activa 6G 20th Anniversary Edition".

The Activa 6G Anniversary Edition comes with distinctive cosmetics compared to the regular model. Honda has offered the special edition in an exclusive Matte Mature Brown paint scheme along with new graphics. It features a white & yellow line, which runs across the front fender and the side panels of the scooter. Other changes include a brown grab handle, gold/yellow-colored ‘Activa’ badging on the sides, a 20th-anniversary logo on the front fender, and black color treatment on the steel wheels & crank casing. 

The Honda Activa 6G Anniversary Edition is available in two trims: standard and deluxe. Here are the prices: –

On the mechanical & features front, the special edition is similar to the regular variants. It is powered by a BS6-compliant 109.5cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected (FI) engine that produces a maximum power output of 7.79PS and a peak torque of 8.79Nm. The Activa 6G also gets Honda eSP technology with a super silent starter-motor-generator.

As far as the key features are concerned, the Activa 6G comes with an LED headlamp, analog instrument cluster, engine kill-switch, 12-inch &10-inch wheel setup, 130mm drum brakes on both ends, external fuel cap, telescopic front suspension, preload-adjustable rear single shock.
