Hero Destini Prime vs XTEC – Difference?

As the above table indicates, the new Hero Destini Prime is Rs 7749 and Rs 14,239 more affordable than the XTEC LX and VX variants, respectively. For this price gap, it misses out on various features and styling elements. Here are the details: –

  • To start with, Hero Destini Prime gets a halogen headlamp instead of XTEC’s LED unit. It also misses out on the chrome finish around the headlamp, rearview mirror and handlebar ends.
  • The backrest featured in the Destini XTEC VX has also been replaced with a conventional grab rail in the Destini Prime. Interested customers have the option to get this feature as an add-on.
  • When it comes to features, the new Prime variant continues to get a USB mobile charging socket (optional), a boot lamp (optional), a self-&-kick start system and an analogue speedometer with a digital display. However, it skips the Bluetooth-based connectivity features, clock and real-time mileage indicator.
