Harley Davidson X440 Gets Huge Discounts This Month

With the launch of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, bike makers have started offering discounts on their models to stay in the limelight. Earlier, Yezdi introduced a complimentary Trail Pack for the Roadster, and now, Harley Davidson is offering a Rs 15,000 discount on the Vivid variant of the X440 for a limited period.

Currently, the Harley Davidson X440 Vivid variant is priced at Rs 2,59,500 (ex-showroom). With the discount of Rs 15,000, it is now available at an effective price of Rs 2,44,000 (ex-showroom). At this price point, it is Rs 4,000 more affordable than the RE Guerrilla 450’s mid-spec Flash variant.

Harley-Davidson X440 Vivid – How It Differs From Other Variants?

The Vivid variant differs from the other variants in the following ways:

  • Classic: Features spoke wheels, a monotone paint scheme, and blacked-out engine fins.
  • Vivid: It has dual-tone paint and alloy wheels.
  • Pinnacle: The top-tier variant includes dual-tone alloy wheels, machined engine fins, more premium paint options with 3D decals on the fuel tank, and smartphone connectivity features.

The Vivid variant offers dual-tone paint and alloy wheels, setting it apart from the Classic’s more basic features and the Pinnacle’s premium enhancements.

Harley-Davidson X440 – Powertrain and Underpinnings

  • The Harley Davidson X440 comes equipped with a 440cc, 2-valve, air-cooled engine, paired with a 6-speed gearbox with an assist & slipper clutch for easy shifting. This engine makes 27.4PS of max power at 6,000 rpm and 38Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm.
  • Speaking of the hardware, the X440 features a double downtube frame, 43mm USD front fork, gas-charged, preload-adjustable twin rear shocks, 18/17-inch alloy wheels (Classic variant has spoked wheels), ByBre disc brakes (320mm front, 240mm rear) with dual-channel ABS, and runs on 100/80 (F) and 140/70 (R) MRF Zapper Hyke tires.
  • It weighs 190.5 kg, has an 805 mm seat height, 170 mm ground clearance, and a 13.5-litre fuel tank.
