Gabriel India Ties Up With HL Klemove For ADAS and Autonomous Driving Tech

Gabriel India Limited, a prominent automobile components manufacturer, has entered into a strategic joint venture (JV) with South Korea-based HL Klemove. As part of this partnership, Gabriel India will become a strategic shareholder in HL Klemove India Pvt Ltd. This will help Gabriel India expand into rapidly growing automotive segments, including automotive electronics, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and autonomous driving.

At present, Tata and Mahindra also source ADAS technology from HL Klemove for their select models.

Building a Comprehensive Mobility Platform

Over the last few years, Gabriel India Limited has been steadily diversifying its portfolio through strategic joint ventures in high-growth segments such as sunroofs, lubricants, EV fluids and precision fasteners. The partnership with HL Klemove builds on this momentum, broadening Gabriel India’s participation in the rapidly evolving Autonomous Driving and Automotive Electronics space through HL Klemove India, while enhancing its competitive position and expanding its presence in a segment central to the future of mobility.

Gabriel India Isn’t Alone

Gabriel India isn’t the only component manufacturer entering the ADAS space through global partnerships. Dhoot Transmission partnered with Israel-based RideVision in June 2026 to develop and localise ADAS technology for India, while Sterling Tools teamed up with China’s MUNIEYE in January 2026 for ADAS and driver-monitoring solutions.
