Citroen C3’s Introductory Prices Have Come To An End

Back in September 2022, Citroen launched its second car for the Indian market, the C3, with prices ranging between Rs 5.71 lakh and Rs 8.06 lakh (ex-showroom). It has now ended its introductory price offer and raised the asking rates of the cross-hatch by up to Rs 17,000. Let’s take a look at the revised variant-wise price list of Citron C3.

Save for the top-spec turbocharged Feel variant, all the other variants of the C3 have received a uniform price hike of Rs 17,000. It now costs between Rs 5.88 lakh and Rs 8.15 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price range, the Citroen C3 rivals the likes of Tata Punch (Rs 5.93 – 9.49 lakh), Maruti Wagon R (Rs 5.47 – 7.20 lakh), Hyundai Grand i10 Nios (Rs 5.43 – 8.45 lakh), Nissan Magnite (Rs 5.97 – 10.79 lakh), and Renault Kiger (Rs 5.99 – 10.62 lakh).

Citreon offers the C3 in two broad trims: Live and Feel; the latter is available with multiple customizations and accessories packs. While both variants are available with a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine (82PS/115Nm) with a 5-speed manual transmission, the latter also comes with an optional 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol mill (110PS/190Nm) with 6-speed manual unit. It is claimed to offer a fuel economy of up to 19.8 kmpl.

In terms of features, the Citroen C3 gets a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, four speakers, a digital instrument cluster, steering-mounted audio controls, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors.
