The Citroen C3 has recently debuted in Brazil with a host of differences when compared to its Indian-spec version. The Brazil-spec C3 comes with the option of a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, which is currently missing in its Indian counterpart.
The cross-hatch also receives a few additional features over the Indian-spec C3, such as powered ORVMs, rear parking camera, rear wiper & washer, rear defogger, leather-wrapped steering wheel, height adjustable headrests for all five seats, and an ECO driving mode for the petrol-AT variants. However, features like a manual air conditioning system, a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a height-adjustable driver seat, steering-mounted audio controls, and a digitized instrument cluster are common in both markets.Â

Currently, Citroen retails the C3 in India between Rs 5.71 – 8.06 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes with two petrol engine options: a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated (82PS/115Nm) with a 5-speed manual and a 1.2-liter turbocharged unit (110PS/190Nm) with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Author’s Take
Since the Citroen C3 was launched in India only a few months back, we don’t expect the brand to update it with these features anytime soon.
