Hyundai Venue Facelift

Upcoming Cars In June 2022: Hyundai Venue facelift
  • Launch Date: June 16 (expected)
  • Expected Price: Rs 7.5 lakh onwards

Initially launched in 2019, the Hyundai Venue has not received any significant update since but still managed to achieve a top spot in sales of the C-SUV segment. Now with the competition getting tougher, Hyundai plans to keep their top-spot by giving the Venue its first major revamp after 3-whole years. With a new chrome slated grille like the updated Tuscon at the front but keeping the iconic headlamp within the square shaped DRL, and a massive tail-light at the rear running the entire width of the boot door. On the inside, the Venue is expected to receive a bigger, more intuitive infotainment screen, ventilated seats, a digital driver’s display, and possibly a 360-degree camera.

With teasers already being dropped by Hyundai, the launch of the new Venue isn’t far along.

Next-Gen Maruti Suzuki Brezza

  • Launch Date: June-end (expected)
  • Expected Price: Rs 7.5 lakh onwards

The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has been the longstanding champion of the C-SUV segment. With Maruti Suzuki already having updated the Baleno, Ertiga, and XL6 within the first 4 months of the year, it looks like the king of the C-SUV segment is next. With the generation update, the Vitara Brezza brings a new blacked-out front grille with updated headlamp and dual-curved DRLs under each headlight, and newer sleeker tail-lights towards the back. The model name has also ditched the Vitara prefix and now rocks just its name “B R E Z Z A”, embossed in Italics between the tail-lights at the rear.

On the inside, the Brezza will get a very modern refresh, with changes like a larger new Smartplay Pro Plus infotainment system, Suzuki-connected car tech, 360-degree camera, a possible heads-up display (HUD), and finally a single-pane sunroof.

Powering the new Brezza is expected to be the new 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine, equipped with smart-hybrid tech, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Bookings have commenced for the all-new Brezza at the dealerships level for a price of Rs 11,000.
