BYD Seal Platform and Specifications
Built on the e-platform 3.0, this comprehensive assembly comprises eight essential components – motor, motor controller, reducer, onboard charger, DC converter, high-voltage distribution box, vehicle controller, and BMS – all consolidated into one unit. Additionally, the Seal stands out as the only BYD model incorporating Cell-To-Body (CTB) technology, seamlessly integrating the battery pack into the car’s structural framework. This innovative approach significantly reduces the vehicle’s overall weight.
Now, let’s now delve into its technical specifications: –
BYD Seal Variants | Dynamic Range | Premium Range | Performance |
Battery Pack | 61.4 kWh | 82.5 kWh | 82.5 kWh |

Torque | 310Nm | 360Nm | 670Nm |
Claimed Range | 510 km | 650 km | 580 km |
Equipped with BYD’s Blade Battery technology, renowned for its high energy density, advanced safety features, and long lifespan, the Seal is capable of charging at speeds of up to 150kW, achieving a 10-80 per cent charge in just 37 minutes. However, a regular 11kW AC charger takes around 8.6 hours to juice up the battery pack from 0 to 100 per cent.
