Bookings Open For Audi Q3 Sportback In India; Launch Soon

Audi India has begun taking bookings for the upcoming Q3 Sportback, suggesting its launch is just around the corner. Interested customers can reserve the coupe-SUV for a token amount of Rs 2 lakh. Expect it to command a significant premium over the standard Audi Q3, which currently ranges from Rs 44.89 lakh to Rs 50.39 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 2023 Audi Q3 Sportback’s sloping roofline is clearly its most noticeable change from the standard Q3. Featuring a distinctive rear gate and an inclined screen, the Sportback’s top gently slopes toward the back, giving it a more dynamic appearance. Expect it to get an S-Line exterior package, with notable bits like matrix LED headlamps with OLED lighting technology, 18-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, and a gesture-controlled tailgate.

Inside, the Sportback’s dashboard is expected to be identical to the standard Q3, boasting an all-black premium-looking cabin, a 3-spoke steering wheel, a 10.1-inch MMI display powered by Audi’s latest MIB system, a 10.5-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus, MMI Navigation Plus, and Audi connect internet connectivity. The SUV will also be loaded with features like dual-zone climate control, 30-colour ambient lighting, heated wing mirrors, Audi drive select, cruise control with speed limiter, six airbags, parking aid plus and much more.

Coming to the mechanical setup, the 2023 Audi Q3 Sportback is expected to get the same 190PS 2.0-litre, inline 4-cylinder, TFSI turbocharged petrol engine as the standard model, that comes mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive (AWD).

Audi Q3 Sportback

Being an SUV coupe, the Audi Q3 Sportback will enjoy its exclusivity in the segment. However, the regular Audi Q3 faces competition from the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA, and Volvo XC40.
