Bajaj Freedom CNG Bike Waiting Period Detailed

The recently launched Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG motorcycle is creating hype in the market for obvious reasons. Currently, it is only available in Mumbai, Pune and select cities of Gujarat, and it has a huge waiting period of up to 3 months.

  • As per reports, customers will have to wait up to 30 days to get deliveries in Mumbai, whereas the waiting period is around 1 month to 45 days in Pune, Maharashtra.
  • Those living in Gujarat might face a waiting period ranging from 30 days to 3 months for the Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG motorcycle.

Its 125cc single-cylinder bi-fueled sloper engine (9.5PS/9.7Nm) claims a mileage of 102 km/kg on CNG and 65 km/l when using petrol. It has a top speed of 90.4 km/h on CNG and 93.4 kmph on petrol. Unlike most CNG cars which have a re-certification interval of 3 years, the Freedom’s CNG tank will require re-certification every 2 years and Bajaj dealers will help in that.

The motorcycle comes with a warranty coverage of 5 years/75,000 km and has a service interval of 5,000 kilometres.

Bajaj offers the Freedom 125 in three variants – Drum, Drum LED and Disc LED, priced between Rs 95,000 and Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). Depending on the variant, it comes the following features: –

  • LED headlamps with DRLs
  • Engine bash plate
  • Digital cluster with Smartphone connectivity support via Bluetooth connectivity
  • Alloy wheels
  • USB charging port
  • Combined Braking System (CBS)
