Bajaj Chetak 2023 Edition Launched With More Range

Bajaj Auto has launched the upgraded version of the Chetak electric scooter called the โ€˜Chetak 2023 Editionโ€™, with new colour options and an improved range. It has been priced at Rs 1,51,910 (ex-showroom Bengaluru). With its launch, the older modelโ€™s price has also been reduced to Rs 1,22,453 (both ex-showroom Delhi, incl Fame II subsidy).

  • Bajaj Chetak is now available in three new flashy colour schemes: Matte Coarse Grey, Matte Caribbean Blue and Satin Black. The previous Brooklyn Black, Hazel Nut, Indigo Metallic, and Velluto Rosso colourways have been discontinued now.
  • The e-scooter now also receives a larger, coloured LCD riderโ€™s display, dual-tone seat, and body-coloured side mirrors as opposed to the previous black saddle and mirrors. Besides, the grabrail, pillion footrest, and lighting nacelle area have also been blacked out for a stealthier appearance.
  • The drivetrain and 3kWh battery pack of the 2023 Bajaj Chetak remain unchanged; however, the scooter now offers an ARAI-certified range of over 108 kilometres on a full charge, thatโ€™s an 18km increase than before.
  • Bajaj has also restructured its supply chain and expanded its development programs with vendors, so the production of Chetak stands at more than 10,000 units a month.

The updated scooter is now available for booking, with deliveries scheduled for April 2023.
