Bajaj Auto Recorded 11% Growth In October 2020 Sales

With the start of the festive season, the demand in the auto sector once again seems to be improving and last month turned out to be quite heartening, especially for many two-wheeler manufacturers. The Indian two & three-wheeler giant, Bajaj Auto has registered 5,12,038 units of total sales for October 2020 against 4,63,208 in October 2019, clocked 11% year-on-year (YoY) growth.

The brand's domestic sales stood at 281,160 units for October 2020 as compared to 278,776 units in the same month last year. On the other hand, exports jumped by 25% with 2,30,878 units compared to 1,84,432 units in October 2019.

It is to be noted that Bajaj's two-wheeler sales have reported a highest-ever surge by 18% with 470,290 units sold, compared to 398,913 units in Oct 2019. The biggest credit in this bumper sale goes to the Pulsar range, which sold more than 1,70,000 units last month. 

The sales of commercial vehicles were declined by 35%, 41,748 units in October 2020 as against 64,295 in the same month last year.
