Ather Rizta To Receive A Price Hike Soon

Earlier this year, Ather Energy launched the Rizta family scooter at an introductory price of Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom). Now reports suggest that it is set to receive its first price hike in January 2025, likely increasing by around Rs 5,000.

To jog your memory, the Ather Rizta is available in two variants: S and Z. The Rizta S is available is available with 2.9kWh battery pack, while the Rizta Z can be had with either a 2.9kWh and 3.7kWh battery choices. The 2.9kWh battery variant boasts a claimed IDC range of 123km and a TrueRange of 105km, while the 3.7kWh unit offers figures of 160km of claimed range and 125km of true range.

Ather Rizta price

When it comes to features, the Ather Rizta comes loaded with amenities like a 7-inch coloured TFT dash, reverse mode, two riding modes (Smart Eco, Zip), Magic Twist (reverse throttle for regen), hill hold, FallSafe, Emergency Stop Signal and Skid Control System. The latter actually matches the front wheel rpm to motor rpm with the help of sensors so that skid can be prevented. It also offers a massive underseat storage space of 34 litres, while the accessory soft ‘frunk’ adds another 22 litres, totalling 56 litres of storage capacity. It also comes with an optional Halo smart scooter with built-in Harman Kardon speakers and mic.
