Ather 450X Gets Expensive By Over Rs 30,000

Following the recent reduction in FAME II subsidy, Ather Energy has made an announcement regarding a price increase for the 450X electric scooter. The flagship scooter is now dearer by over Rs 30,000.

Entry-level 450X gets access to fast chargers

  • Ather Energy has increased the prices of the entry-level 450X by up to Rs 30,285. While the jump is huge, the carmaker now provides it with access to Ather Grid fast-charging network and a faster 700W charger.
  • Regarding the 450X with Pro-Pack, its subsidy has been reduced by approximately Rs 32,000, but the price has only increased by approximately Rs 20,000.
  • For those who aren’t aware, features like Ride modes: Warp | Sport | Ride | Eco | SmartEco, coloured TFT display (touchscreen) with Bluetooth connectivity, Google maps support, tyre pressure monitor, hill assist, park assist and 5-year battery warranty are part of the Pro pack.   • Powering the Ather 450X is a 3.7kWh battery pack with an IDC range of around 146 km (the true range is around 105km).
