Ather Energy has announced a price cut for its entry-level electric scooter, the 450S. Earlier, it was priced at Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom Bengaluru, including FAME II subsidy). The company has now reduced its price by Rs 25,000, making it cost Rs 1.10 lakh. Ather has also slashed the price for the Pro Pack from Rs 22,210 to Rs 9,999, and Ather Battery Protect cost from Rs 5,499 to Rs 1.
For those unaware, the Pro Pack unlocks a host of connectivity and riding assist features like riding modes, on-board navigation, OTA updates support, hill hold assist, theft & tow alert, find-my-scooter, and more. On the other hand, the Ather Battery Protect extends the battery warranty to 5 years/60,000 kilometres and guarantees 70% battery health at the end of 5 years.
