Community reacts to Ather's newest scooter - the 450 Apex

Ather Energy has shared the thrilling riding experience of its community members who have recently embraced the new 450 Apex. Their shared experiences reveal a zestful journey with the 450 Apex, outpacing the existing 450X. For reference, the Ather 450X is claimed to do the 0-40 kmph sprint in just 3.3 seconds before attaining a top speed of 90 kmph.

While the technical specifications of the new Ather 450 Apex are still under wraps, it is likely to feature the same 3.7kWh battery pack as the existing 450X model. However, the motor is expected to be tuned differently to produce more power.

Regarding features, the Apex version is likely to gain features like cruise control, Antilock Braking System (ABS) and transparent body panels on the sides.

With all these changes, it could command a notable premium over the Ather 450X, which currently retails at Rs 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will continue to take on the likes of gen-2 Ola S1 Pro.

In other news, Ather Energy is also gearing up to introduce a new 450X HR variant, essentially an enhanced range version of the 450X electric scooter, which is anticipated to offer a claimed range of 158 kilometres on a single charge.
