The highly-anticipated Aprilia RS 457 supersport motorcycle finally launched in India at the ongoing India Bike Week in Goa. With a price tag of Rs 4.10 lakh (ex-showroom), it is Rs 1.14 lakh more affordable than the Kawasaki Ninja 400.
Customers interested in the RS 457 can make their bookings from December 15 for a token amount of Rs 10,000. Its deliveries are slated to start from March 2024.

Taking design inspiration from the Aprilia RS 660, the all-new RS 457 sports a sharp & aggressive silhouette with aerodynamically optimised body panels. It packs impressive hardware and features.
- 457cc liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder, DOHC engine with 6-speed gearbox, along with an optional quick-shifter.
- Max output of 47.6PS and 43.5Nm.
- Twin-spar aluminium frame, suspended on the 41mm USD from (120mm travel) and mono-shock (130mm travel), both come with preload adjustability.
- 320mm front disc with 4 piston callipers and 220mm rear disc brake, assisted by a dual-channel ABS with a supermoto mode.
- At 175kg, the Aprilia RS457 is approximately 7kg heavier than the Kawasaki Ninja 400.
- 110/70 (front) and 150/60 (rear) with TVS Eurogrip Protorq extreme tyres.
- Seat Height of 800mm and fuel tank capacity of 13 litres
- Twin LED headlamp, clip-on handlebar positioned above the fork clamp, underbelly exhaust, a 5-inch TFT display with optional Bluetooth connectivity, ride-by-technology, three riding modes, backlit switchgear, and three levels of traction control.
