Enhanced Wallet App
The wallet app in the Apple smart devices will now get a new feature to upload & store documents. It will let motorists access their driving-related documents and licenses digitally, eliminating the need to keep originals. However, this facility will initially be limited to the United States only.
Advanced Digital Car Keys
We all know that Apple was the first to introduce the digital car key feature. However, until now, this feature was based on NFC technology, which means that the phone had to be brought near the door handle to use this feature. Now, the tech giant has rolled out certain refinements, and the use of Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology will make accessing your car a lot easier. This means the digital car key will now work even when your phone is in your pocket or bag. Apart from the lock/unlock feature, it will now also allow you to blow the horn, control the air conditioning system and unlock the boot of your car.
It is important to note that not all cars support this feature. As of now, only a few BMW cars are compatible with the digital car key feature.

Improved Apple Maps
With the iOS 15, Apple has taken new ways to navigate and explore destinations. Users will experience significantly enhanced details in cities for neighborhoods, commercial districts, elevation, and buildings, new road colors and labels, custom-designed landmarks, and a new night-time mode with a moonlit glow.
Also, when navigating using iPhone or CarPlay, Apple Maps will display a 3D city map with new road details that will help users better see and understand important details like turn lanes, medians, bike lanes, and pedestrian crosswalks. By the end of this year, the updated maps will be available in six countries: US, UK, Ireland, Canada, Spain, and Portugal.
