Similar to the LXT, the Thar OG ZXT is also available with all the SUV’s powertrain options, with prices ranging from Rs 13.99 lakh to Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Depending on the powertrain option, the ZXT trim commands a premium of up to Rs 1.32 lakh over the one-below LXT variant.

The new Thar OG fixes almost all the shortcomings of the 3-door Thar, and combining it with the loaded ZXT variant makes the SUV a more desirable option for those looking for a purpose-built SUV that has now become a slightly more family-friendly offering for a complete experience. It gets all the engine & gearbox options offered with the SUV, along with added safety, convenience, and styling. However, the lack of a 360-degree camera, a premium sound system, and a sunroof could be a major miss for some buyers.
