The Sierra EV is Tata Motors’ latest electric SUV in the Indian market. Priced from Rs 18.79 lakh to Rs 25.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the Sierra EV overlaps with some variants of the Curvv EV, which is a segment below the model. Author’s Take
The Tata Curvv EV, essentially a coupe version of the Nexon EV, is a more feature-rich offering when compared to Sierra EV’s Pure S variant. It also costs Rs 80,000 less, and with its smaller footprint, it will be easier to drive and park in urban conditions. That said, it can be a good option for those looking for an EV for high everyday commuting and occasional highway journeys.
On the other hand, the Sierra EV justifies its premium with its larger size, a superior road presence, significantly more cabin space, a longer claimed range and a more powerful electric motor, making it worth considering if you’re eyeing a premium and comfortable family SUV for both city commutes and long-distance road trips.
