Maruti Brezza Facelift Unveil Date Announced

Maruti Suzuki is all set to introduce a mid-life facelift update to the Brezza on July 23, 2026. It is expected to receive fresh styling tweaks, revised interior, new amenities and most importantly, a new engine option.

2026 Maruti Brezza Facelift: What To Expect?

  • The most significant update for the 2026 Brezza will come in the form of a new petrol engine option. It is expected to be the 1-litre, turbocharged unit from the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, which produces 100PS of max power and 148Nm of peak torque.
  • It is likely to be offered with the 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
  • This new engine will make the Brezza eligible for a lower 18% GST. Currently, it attracts 40% GST, as it comes with a 1,500cc petrol engine. However, this ongoing naturally aspirated unit is likely to be retained in the facelifted model as well.
  • It is also likely to get a new underbody CNG tank like the Maruti Suzuki Victoris, freeing up space inside the boot for your luggage.

  • Visually, the 2026 Brezza is expected to get a new front facia, revised alloy wheel design, and connected tail lamp setup.
  • Inside, we expect a new colour scheme, along with some materials upgraded for a premium feel.
  • It will also be equipped with a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system offered in the Victoris.
  • Other expected additions include front ventilated seats, ambient lighting, a powered driver seat, front parking sensors and a level-2 ADAS suite.

Expected Price and Rivals

Expect the 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift to price in the ballpark of Rs 8.5 lakh and Rs 14.5 lakh (ex-showroom), placing it against the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
